"I am a runner because..."

Marathon Mom posted "I am a runner because..." Here's my response...

I am a runner because… challenge for "going the distance", gather my thoughts, being in nature, girl chat!

And, just the feeling of accomplishment! These are a few of the things that keep me going! I have found it a bit challenging to run on my own lately… our “girl chats” are far more fun than listening to the IPOD.

I am determined to get back on track! I must hit my goal of 500 miles for 2008!

Aggie Wedding

I made a quick trip to TX last weekend... it was CRAZY!!! 4 nights in 4 different places! There's nothing like packing and unpacking throughout the entire trip... but, it was well worth it! I was able to spend time with ALL of my family!

Not to mention... the wedding was held in College Station, TX! It was great to be back on campus and to see how everything has changed! After the ceremony, Michael & Ashley took a group photo with all of their fellow AGGIES!

It was great to be able to spend some quality time with Jamie, my college roomie!

Our Neighbors...

I just have to share this sweet picture… Our neighbors are like family to us. We are very close & turn to each other whenever we need a helping hand. Many times when Ross & I are away the boys will look after Zoe & Belle. The pups absolutely love them.

On Saturday, Parveen was catching some ZZZZZZZZZ’s as she had been assisting a birth all night long… The boys came over for a while so she could have some peace & quiet time.

Zoe’s Back!!!

Yesterday, Zoe had her final check-up with the vet. The vet was so amazed with how well she has recovered and very excited to see that Zoe is giving tons of kisses again! She told me she actually lost sleep during that week… considering the difficulty of the surgery as well as the recovery process.

Zoe’s back in full force… Running, jumping, and tumbling on the floor with Belle!
