Fifteen Weeks Old!

Wow! Can't believe how fast time flies by during the week. Before we know it, it's Wednesday and we're headed for the weekend again... and the weekends are just too short! Emery-time is so special and just can't get enough of it! Last Thursday evening, Emery rolled onto her tummy twice. But, she hasn't done it since... it won't be long and she'll be rolling all over the place.

Back to Reality

Last Monday was my first day back to work and I have to say... It was one of the worst days of my life. I never knew it would be that hard to leave Emery at daycare. Both her & I had a really rough start to the week... with me trying to figure out a morning schedule for us and with Emery getting used to taking a bottle from someone other than Ross or myself. Ms. Shirley is the primary care for Emery during the day and has been working really hard to help her with the transition. Ms. Shirley finally conquered the bottle... Emery will only take the bottle if she is being held on Ms. Shirley's right arm and laying like she would be nursed... who knew there would be a formula behind it! Our nightly routine is changing as Emery has been ready for bed as early as 8:30pm... our little princess loves her bath, nurses, and then sleeps ALL night long and at times I have to wake her to be nursed in the morning. Thank goodness because with Mommy waking up at 5:30am... I need my sleep too!

With getting Emery ready for daycare, I was stressed with all of the "labeling" that has to be done. I found these awesome labels by Inch Bug for her bottles!

Wow, we have had a fun-filled weeknd! Drinks with Eric & Nikki on Friday night, Martha's wedding on Saturday evening, an awesome Tiki Party on Saturday night hosted by the LaBella's; and a very relaxing Sunday with Baby Emery!!! Needless to say, I am not ready for Monday!
