Today, Emery had her first trip to the pool! It was very relaxing for both Mommy & Emery! Emery hung out in her stroller in the shade from the table umbrella while Mommy took in the sun!

Over the past couple of nights, I've watched Emery play with the toys on her bouncy chair. She has realized she can reach up and move the toys! She's growing so fast!!!

Memorial Day Weekend ... Lake Anna!

For Memorial Day Weekend, we went to Lake Anna and I have to admit I was a bit nervous traveling with Emery and all of her "baby stuff"! To my surprise... It couldn't have gone any smoother! She enjoyed all of the fresh air, extra attention and slept so peacefully through the night. What a great trip!!!

Eight Weeks Old!

Our Baby E turned 8-weeks old yesterday! She had her 2-month appointment & shots... she weighs 11.4 lbs. and is 22 1/2 in. long.

She has a Strawberry Hemangioma on her right foot.

Seven Weeks Old!

Emery turned 7-weeks old yesterday! She's growing so fast! Many of her 3-month outfits no longer fit her as they are too short. Last night, I washed some of her 6-month onesies and she wore one of them today. I can't believe it! I wish summer would hurry up and get here... Otherwise, I will have several outfits that she will never-ever wear... Ugh! I got on the scale with her today and my calculations say that she's 11.2 lbs. Growing girl!

Taking a Bottle

With Emery going to daycare at the beginning of June, we've introduced her to the bottle. She's amazing! Some have told me the transition may be rough for her and that she most likely would not take a bottle from me... well, she has proved them wrong! She willing takes a bottle from both Ross & myself. Now, we just need a smooth transition to daycare!

Emery is growing so fast! It's amazing to watch her! She's beginning to focus on her mobiles on her swing and crib. The other night during her bath she found her ear and belly button... she looked at me like "Okay Mom, now what do I do?" Here are some pics and videos... Enjoy!
