Considering that we'll be celebrating our 2nd anniversary this June, I have finally hung our wedding portrait. I know it's not the perfect spot, but it will work for now.

Rearranging the Furniture
About two weeks ago, J was cleaning out one of their storage sheds down in Grundy, VA. He ran across Laura's grandmother's Duncan Phyfe dining room set from the 1950's. And instead of it setting in a shed, Laura called and asked if I would like to use it in the mean time... or, until Ross & I can purchase our own. Absolutely! It's beautiful! And, not to mention, that I love antiques!
For being over 50 years old, all of the pieces are in great condition!
My next big project will be to recover the chairs and add some more padding.
We ended up moving the large round table into the breakfast area. Now, I just need to get some new chairs as the ones we have right now are slowly falling apart.

Am I lazy or what???
I definitely had to ask myself this question last night as I went to my mailbox and found a single slip of paper that said, "Box is full. Please contact Post Office." Clearly, you can see that I have not been to the mailbox in while... in fact, to be more precise, I believe I'm going on a 2-week stretch. Now, I know this is not good and that the poor mailman was probably not saying very nice things as he was to trying to cram in the next day’s mail. I really have no excuses just the fact that “getting the mail” completely slipped my mind! So, I guess tomorrow morning I’ll be venturing out to the Bristow Post Office.
Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run
So, I've literally been stalking the message boards for the past couple of days trying to find a bib number that's available for transfer. I was finally successful today! YEA!!! Now, I'm all set for the 10-miler! Hopefully, I'm not allergic to the Cherry Blossoms!

Charlottesville Half Marathon!
I registered today!!! According to THE NEW YORK TIMES, it's "One of the Top Five Destination marathons in the country" and with it being a short drive away... I thought why not, right! :) Over half of the reviews I've read mentioned that the scenery keeps you going!
So, wish me luck on April 19th!
Hopefully next year I'll be running the real marathon with the girls!
