And, this would be the evening we found out that Emery
is NOT fond of frilly dresses as she screamed for at least
5 minutes trying to get the dress off ... Mommy did not
give in this time as she looked so adorable!!!

I'm kind of crazy about our pictures telling the perfect
chronological story ... I know, I am SEVERAL months
behind already! And, yes, these are a bit out of order, but
I had to include a few more from Christmas 2010! I'm sure
some more will sneak in as I FORGOT my camera and had
to use whose ever was available at the time ... so, I'm slowly
gathering all of Emery's pictures.

What an amazing trip!!! Even though this vacation fell in the middle of

our "moving back to TX" phase, everything was perfect ... hotel, location,

food, drinks, relaxation, and great friends! Only thing was missing ... our

Baby Emery! We enjoyed our time away, but missed her like CRAZY!!!

Good-bye VA ... Hello TX

As I've said in previous posts, we are very blessed to have such great

memories of our family & friends in VA! Saying good-bye was bitter

sweet ... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being super-close to all of our

family & friends in TX ... But, I have my days when all I want is to just

drive down the street and see the familiar faces of my close girlfriends

going out for their morning runs as I head off to work or seeing the herd

of kids taking a walk at the end of the day! Good-bye VA ... Hello TX!
