A Relaxed Baby!

Over the past week, Emery has definitely had her moments... is it gas pains, reflux, or colic... we weren't really sure. We were trying EVERYTHING... moving her legs, burping her for 5 minutes or longer, changing her position, keeping her upright for 30 minutes after feeding, giving her Mylicon, removing dairy and most irritating foods from my diet, keeping her on a strict schedule, putting her in a vibrating chair, bouncing her, rubbing her tummy. You could hear her "hurt" in her cries... Breaks my heart!

Emery is not the best burper and tends to not spit-up but swallow it back down. After a near "all-nighter" we went to the doctor yesterday and discussed EVERYTHING... the doctor has started her on Zantac for reflux and advised that we should see some improvement within 72 hours. Hopefully, it will give her some relief!

Emery is growing! She weighed-in at 9.1!

Last night after her bath & feeding, she was very irritable and fussy... so, we turned on the small heater and laid her down on her changing pad in the bathroom and just let her kick. Then we turned on the faucet to the bath and this is what happened... She was out!!!

Oh, Cynthia. Lots of prayers and empathy. Zantac was great for Hudson, and I'm so glad your ped is listening to you. It's the hardest when your baby hurts and you can't fix it.
